Selena D Phillips

Ms. Selena D. Phillips former resident of Selma, Alabama transitioned into eternal rest on August 5, 2019, in Wichita, Kansas. Services will be held in Selma on Saturday, August 17, 2019, at Mt. Zion Baptist Primitive Church at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow immediately at Serenity Memorial Garden (formerly Fairlawn).  Ms. Phillips was a Retired Rainbows United Supervisor. She is survived by five sisters: Minister Ruby Stevenson of Selma, Alabama, Ms. Versie Phillips of Bessemer, AL, Ms. Andrea McCarthy of Mobile, AL, Mrs., Thomasene B. Sanders (Pastor Johnny Sanders) of Selma, AL, and Mrs. Shelia M. Jackson (Minister Bobby L. Jackson) of Robertsdale, AL; one brother: Mr. Michael Hobby (Theresa Hobby) of Selma, AL; She is preceded in death by her parents: Sam Phillips & Elizabeth Hobby.
