Ethel Green, born November 3, 1951 to J.C. and Nettie Green, entered eternal rest on February 27, 2026. Though she had faced health challenges in recent years, her passing was sudden, leaving a deep and tender void in the lives of those who loved her.
At an early age, Ethel accepted Christ and carried her faith with her throughout her life.
To cherish her memory, Ethel leaves behind a son, Demond Martin; daughter, Christmas Green-Williams (Marcus); granddaughter, Ashley Malone; two step-grandsons, Joshua Williams and Markus "Mark" Williams; three brothers Howard (Clementine) Barron, Willie (Katherine) Green, and Bobby Green; four sisters, Betty Jean Patterson, Mary (James) Brown, Fannie Green, and Betsy Green; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and other loved ones. She is also survived by her beloved grand-dog, Bo "fat Boy" Williams.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Felix (Georgia) Barron and J.C. Green, Jr.
Graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery. The professional staff and management at Ashley's J.H. Williams & Sons Funeral Home extend our deepest condolences, thoughts, and prayers to the entire Green-Williams families.
