Stoney Vintson Sr.

Stoney Vintson was born December 31, 1943 to Stonewall
and Nell Vintson.
He departed this life on Sunday, May 21, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Ward Vintson; and his parents, Stonewall and Nell Vintson.
Stoney was the owner of Stoney Vintson Insurance Agency for over forty (40) years in the Selma community. He adored all of his customers. Stoney was friendly and would open his home to anyone, family or friends. He enjoyed playing tennis, reading about history, and going to the zoo to photograph the animals. He also loved when his nieces and nephews would make their yearly visit during the summer.
He leaves to cherish loving memories: one (1) son, Stoney Vintson Jr.; Two (2) grandchildren, Naomi Vintson and Ian Vintson; one (1) brother, Bill (Sharron) Vintson; his caretakers, Ashley Smith (niece) and Rachel Glasscock (friend); a host of other relatives and many friends.

Celebration of life will take place Wednesday, May 31, 2023 11AM in the chapel of Ashley's JH Williams Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Laura McNeil. The staff and management at Ashley's JH Williams extends our heartfelt condolences and prayers to the entire Vintson-Smith families.
